Vaccine registration for those over 18 years of age start from 28 April

The government had said recently that it will vaccinate the corona vaccine to people over 18 years of age from May 1.

The registration process for vaccination of all people above 18 years of age in the country will start from April 28. People will have to register for the vaccine on the Cowin portal www.cowin.gov.in. Its process and the necessary documents are the same as in the earlier phase. Aadhaar card, voter eye card and DL etc. can be used as documents. The government had said recently that it will vaccinate the corona vaccine to people over 18 years of age from May 1.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health has said that 50 percent of the vaccines produced in the country. The dose company will have to be given to the Government of India and the remaining doses will be given to the state governments and private hospitals. The Center says that its vaccine center will provide free vaccines to people over 45 years, healthcare and frontline workers as before. Private hospitals will not be vaccinated by the central government from May 1. They have to buy it from the market. The Center also says that vaccine companies will be able to fix the price of the vaccine, but its price will be monitored in private hospitals.

The government says that all vaccinations (through the Government of India Vaccination Centers and other means) will be part of the national immunization program and existing guidelines will all have to be followed. All vaccination centers will give all information, including price and stock, vaccination certificate on the Cowin platform.
