Village in Madhya Pradesh gives First Vaccine Dose to all Eligible Residents


A village named Mehgavan Pariyat village in Madhya Pradesh received its first dose to all the eligible residents, which was managed by the panchayat of the village, the first village in Madhya Pradesh Jabalpur district has been completely covered in the inoculation drive today.

In the village, the registered voters were 1,002 of which 956 had received their first dose of the Covid vaccine on Wednesday. The remaining 46 people in the village were those who recovered from the infection, including the pregnant women and the number of people who live outside the village.

As the village received its first dose, some of the people in the village received their second dose during the ongoing vaccination drive. Besides, the vaccination drive some old age people from the village took a personal interest in getting vaccinated, 102-year lady, Tijjo Bai, and 100 years old, a lady named Triveni Bai, she moreover, replied to those who were spreading rumors against the vaccine.

The team of 6 people was sent from the health department to the drive and the team of 6 people was mainly focused to vaccinate the elderly, physically challenged persons, and the sick ones at their homes.
