Virus on rise in eastern Chinese city of Nanjing

Teens were kept under lockdown and proper testing and standard practices have been done by the authorities.

In the Eastern Chinese city of Nanjing, cases of Corona Virus have been seen growing, 38 cases were reported on Monday. The number has been increased over 60 recently. The cases have been seen in thousands of tens in the city of Nanjing, for controlling the situation of the city, teens were kept under lockdown and proper testing and standard practices have been done by the authorities.

Besides, a local transmission case was also found out recently, in the nearby city of Suqian in the region of Liaoning. Both cases were linked to the Nanjing outbreak. Meanwhile,36 imported cases were also reported in half of Yunnan, near the border of Myanmar. As per the information, the people who crossed the border from Yunnan before June 30 and July 24 have brought up certain circumstances.

China has recorded 92,605 total coronavirus cases, the number of death is 4,636 and the active cases is 741, as per the information from the worldometer website.
