India administered over 75 lakh vaccines record doses


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said that "The vaccine remains our strongest weapon" in fighting Covid-19. India administered over 75 lakh vaccines doses and made this record. According to the tweet, The PM Said that, "Today's record breaking vaccination numbers are gladdening. The vaccine remains our strongest weapon to fight against Covid-19. '' adding that he also said that, "congratulating to those who got vaccinated and kudos to all the frontline warriors working hard to ensure so many citizens got vaccines. Well done India!"

Previously the vaccine coverage hit was on April 2 when 42,65,157 doses were administered. Meanwhile, The Centre today started providing free vaccines to all above the age of 18.

Meanwhile, some states have been posting record numbers of inoculations with Andhra Pradesh vaccinating over 1.3 million people on Sunday, whereas  Karnataka is aiming to inoculate each eligible citizen by the end of the year.
