A Woman Was Raped In Her House On Gunpoint


In Firozabad, near Agra a woman has accused a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteer for raping her and she has filed a written complaint with the police regarding same. According to the information, the woman has claimed that a local RSS volunteer many time used to come to her house and one day, he tried to molest her, she somehow managed to protect herself and told him to leave and warned him not to come to her house again.

The victim said, few days later, the accused entered her house forcibly and raped her at gunpoint. The victim's sister-in-law heard victim's screams and came to rescue her after which the man left the spot saying that he is an RSS worker and nobody can do anything to him. The victim with her sister-in-law filed a written complaint against the accused immediately but the police came in the morning.

Police station in-charge Ramendra Kumar Shukla said that, the police had received a written complaint from the woman and investigation is underway. He also added, "if the complaint is true, an FIR will be registered and action will be taken against the accused, whether he is an RSS volunteer or not is a secondary matter and will not affect his prosecution, if he is found to be guilty." On this matter, Social activist Rajkumar Nagrath said, the RSS should take action against such people and kick them out, because these kind of people are black mark on such reputed organization.

Further investigation are underway.
