World Post Day is celebrated on 9th October and National postal day is celebrated on 10th October.

Postal staff have been working incessantly like a clock to provide their services.Starting their days from rain, to storm, flood and latest its COVID-19 now.These staffs have provided their services selflessly and worked overtime, during this pandemic. When the whole world was under a cage they reached our doors by providing us with our emergency products like emergency kits, medicines, urgent papers and even cash was also delivered.

Ashok Kumar, Assistant Superintendent of postal departments in Chanakyapuri, Delhi,said that "We restarted our operations in April with staggered timings and shifts" so that emergency needs could reach on time.All the arrangements regarding safety for employees including masks, gloves, sanitizers, shields were made available by the postal department staff in view of COVID19.

When people were unable to access the bank due to the restrictions for COVID 19, some amount of cash we're also delivered in several departments at the door with safety and security.
According to Kumar, a postman, working since the past 34 years, said that, "I tried to reach immediately when people requested emergency delivery".

Lakh's of postal workers have risked their lives and completed their task on time and even saved many lives by delivering emergency orders.
Kumar said that "Of course, there was a fear of COVID19" and we took all the precautions and worked overtime and some time with just 50% personal capacity so that the work doesn't suffer.

These are not only postal staffs these are warriors who have risked their lives and saved others life by providing their services.
