The director of federal bureau of investigation (FBI) of Washington, Christopher Wray on Wednesday confirmed that the pandemic Covid-19 originated due to a lab incident in Wuhan of China.
According to the report by the wall street journal, the development came after the new intelligence had promoted the Energy Department to conclude that the novel corona virus pandemic occurred because of an accidental leak in the laboratory of Wuhan in China.
The energy department Collaborates with the FBI in the investigation of the virus and information that the spread of the virus is likely because of a mishap in one of the Wuhan laboratory and the conclusion of the information is the result of scientific expertise and overseas network of the US nation and other foreign partners.
The emergence of the pandemic raised tension between China and US that alleged was withholding information about the outbreak as china has placed limits on investigation by the world health organization (WHO).
The Chinese government didn't responded to the request for comments to the updated report.
