Susan Wojcicki step down as YouTube CEO...


The chief executive officer of YouTube Susan Danel Wojcicki from year 2014 to 2023 has announced that she resigned from her position on Thursday.

 

After spending her 9 years in a world largest online video platform Wojcicki posted that she would like to invest her time in her family, health and personal projects.

 

She joined Google in 1999 and was the 16th employee there and contributed alot to the technology and growth to the society and invest her 25 years to the company and its growth.

 

Susan further mentioned that it was an incredible time that she spent with the company and when she joined YouTube her first priority was to build a leadership team and now she feels that they have achieved it with amazing employees.

 

She also announced that Neal Mohan an Indian-American lieutenant will be the New CEO. Mohan served as the senior vice president of the display and video advertising at Google. He joined Google in 2007 with double click acquisition and then in 2015 he become the chief product officer of YouTube.
