Veteran actor Anupam Shyam breathed his last at around 1:30 am on Sunday.
On Sunday, veteran actor Anupam Shyam passed away due to multiple organ failure at the age of 63. About a week ago, he was admitted to the critical care unit of a city hospital.
The death information was confirmed on social media by filmmaker Ashok Pandit and journalist Anupam K Singh, who shared their condolences with a heartfelt message on Twitter. Actor Yashpal Sharma, who was one of the close friends of Anupam Shyam, told sources that the veteran actor died at Lifeline Hospital in Gurugram, Delhi around 1.30 a.m.
Mr Sharma articulated that “I just returned home from the hospital. The doctors informed us he died due to multiple organ failure. His body will be brought to his residence, New Dindoshi, MHADA colony, at 5-6 in the morning, followed by the funeral later during the day around 11:30-12 PM.” He added in his statement that he had rushed to the hospital on reading reports of the actor passing away. On reaching there, he found him still breathing, however, the doctors soon declared him dead.
