Ahead of RRR's release, theatre in Andhra Pradesh has put up barbed wires

Alia's first film with SS Rajamouli

RRR is an upcoming Indian Telugu language action drama film directed by SS Rajamouli. RRR is a tale of two legendary revolutionaries and their journey far away from home. After their journey they return home to start fighting back against British colonialists in the 1920s. 

A film theatre in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, has set up barbed wire and avoid to keep people from going too close to the screen, just days before the debut of SS Rajamouli's blockbuster RRR in theatres. After the screen was damaged owing to a large audience when Pushpa was screened there, the theatre officials made this decision. 

SS Rajamouli's RRR is one of the most anticipated films and fans are waiting to see the magic on the big screen. RRR features Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The movie will hit theatres on March 25, 2022. The release date of RRR was postponed multiple times due to the COVID pandemic. 

The film which has been dubbed and will be released in Hindi, also stars Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani and Shriya Saran in important roles. 

RRR is dubbed to the biggest action film since the Baahubali. Made on a budget of over Rs300 crore, the film has already done pre - release business worth over Rs.500 crore. 

Like most of Rajamouli's films, RRR too will be a tale of revenge. In an interview, Rajamouli said, his films are mostly based on revenge because it is the strongest emotion. 

This is Alia Bhatt's first film with SS Rajamouli. He said he was drawn to cast the Gangubai Kathiawadi star as she was fit for the role of Sita. "On the outside, Alia appears fragile and soft, but as her interior she was a very strong character. I wanted someone like her to play the role of Sita as someone who could balance out the fire and water of Charan and Taarak's character in the film," that's why I chose her for the film. 

Alia will be seen in Rocky Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra. It is a romantic drama film directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Production.
