Thank God trailer is out now. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh and has been beautifully directed by Indra Kumar.
The 3 minutes and 9 seconds long trailer brings back the Indra Kumar brand of cinema where a lot depends on slapstick and physical comedy backed by 90s archetypical dialogues.
The trailer starts with Sidharth Malhotra, a regular office goer, stuck between life and death after meeting with a massive accident.
He meets Chitragupta aka Ajay Devgn, who makes him confront his weaknesses, like anger, jealousy, among others. Despite the dialogues being silly on paper, Devgn makes them work with his trademark delivery.
Sidharth returns to comedy after a while, and it is extremely refreshing. Rakul plays an ambitious woman but not much is known about her role from the trailer.
The trailer will also make you reminiscent of the viral Manike Mage Hithe which has been used as the main theme for the film. The trailer is fun and light and completely a family entertainer.
Sidharth and Rakul had previously worked in Aiyaary. The movie also teases about a song featuring Sid and Nora Fatehi.
Thank God will be released on October 25, 2022. Film is going to clash with Akshay Kumar’s Ram Sethu.
