Alia Bhatt tested covid positive

While Mumbai has been grappling with the second wave of Corona virus, from the past few days  maximum number of celebrities have been testing positive for the infection. The latest addition to the list is actress Alia Bhatt, who took to her Instagram shared her diagnosis on Thursday night. She wrote on her Instagram post "Hello all, I have tested positive for covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care".

Alia Bhatt has been busy filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi in Mumbai and the previous month her boyfriend, Actor Ranbir Kapoor has tested positive for covid-19, who now tested negative and is fully recovered, on the other hand Mr Bhansali had tested positive and recovered a few weeks ago.

Recently, many celebrities such as Milind, R Mahadevan, Amir khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Kartik Aryan, Rohit saraf, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey, Bappi Lahiri have been tested positive. Meanwhile, due to the rise in covid-19  cases, night curfew ha been imposed in Mumbai, on Thursday Mumbai recorded 8,600 new covid-19 cases.
