Anupam Kher on his 67th Birthday

Resolution to become fit!

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is celebrating his 67th birthday today. Anupam said that his resolution this year is to be fit. He took to social media to share a glimpse of new pictures of himself and showing off his fit body. Fans surprised with his fitness transition.

He made a grand debute in Bollywood with the 1984 film Saraansh, which was an instant hit and made him popular in the industry. And since then he has not stopped from giving hit films to Bollywood.

Sharing the photos he penned a long note on his journey in Bollywood and wished himself on his birthday and wrote - 'Happy Birthday to me! Today as I start my 67th year, I am motivated excited to present a new vision I have for myself! These pics are an example of slow progress I have made in the last couple of years.

37 years ago you met a young actor who debuted in the most unconventional way and played a 65 year old man. Throughout my career I have tried to explore every single Avenue as a performer. But there is one dream that I always had inside me, but never did anything to make it a reality. The dream was to take my fitness seriously and look and feel like the best version of myself'.

I have started walking the path of my fitness journey and as with everything else that I do, I want to share this journey with you. I will share my good days and bad days, and hopefully a year later, we will celebrate a new me, together. Wish me luck! This is 2022, he added.

Kher's comment box was instantly filled with love messages and birthday wishes. Sikandar Kher, his son, wrote - 'Happy Birthday Dad', while Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan commented - 'Amazing, Happy Birthday'. Many other fans and celebrities wished him luck on the good day.

Anupam Kher defined the 80's and 90's with his plethora of roles - as there were years where he starred in more than four films. He is the unusual dad - villain from the 90's, and he could make the effortless transition from the loud 90's to the more toned down 2000's.

He is currently gearing up for the release of the upcoming film 'The Kashmir Files'. The film is based on the Kashmiri Pandit genocide and will release on March 11, 2022.
