Fest to be held in May…
This year, Anushka Sharma will walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.
The actress and her Husband Virat, met France’s Ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenin at the French Embassy in the National Capital.
The Ambassador posted a photograph from the meeting and revealed that Anushka will attend the Cannes Film Festival which will take place in the last week of this month.
Emmanuel tweeted a photo and wrote, "A pleasure meeting Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma! I wished Virat and his Team all the best for the upcoming tournaments, and discussed Anushka's trip to the Cannes Film Festival."
Anushka Sharma is the star of films like Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, PK, Band Baaja Baaraat, Sultan, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, and many more in a row.
Other attendees included actors Pooja Hegde, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tamannaah Bhatia, Grammy-winning composers AR Rahman and Rickey Kej, and actor R Madhavan whose film premiered there.
TV stars Hina Khan and Helly Shah also attended the festival.
