'Bachchhan Paandey' Film Sees A Decline At Box Office

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon-starrer Film has suffered due to The Kashmir Files and RRR

Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon-starrer Bachchhan Paandey is not hitting six at the box office. 

With competitors like Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files and SS Rajamouli's RRR, the film has suffered invariably. 

On March 18, Bachchhan Paandey was released and starring Jacqueline Fernandez too in the film. 

The storyline follows an aspiring filmmaker (Kriti) trying to make a film on a gangster (Akshay). Reportedly, the film saw a drop of 11 per cent on Day 11 at the box office.

Bachchhan Paandey's box office collection has not seen well since its opening day. Reportedly, the film entered the Rs. 50-crore club during the second weekend. 

However, it failed to bring in good numbers after that as it was replaced by RRR. According to reports, it saw a drop of 11 per cent on Day 11. 

The reports suggest that Bachchhan Paandey earned Rs. 1 crore only on its 11th day.

Bachchhan Paandey is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and written by Nischay Kuttanda and director Farhad Samji. 

Besides Akshay, Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon, the film also features Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Daabbi and Saharsh Kumar Shukla. 

Earlier, Bachchhan Paandey was set to premiere on December 25, 2020. However, the release date was pushed and Farhad Samji’s directorial will now release theatrically on March 18, 2022. 

The story revolves around an aspiring director (Kriti) who wants to make a film on a deadly gangster (Akshay).
