Bell Bottom Movie Hits Box Office After Pandemic

Bell Bottom Extended Weekend Box Office: Akshay Kumar posted highest daily income in a pandemic.

Akshay Kumar's long-awaited spy thriller Bell Bottom saw an uptick in business on Sunday as the film collections ranged from 4.45 billion to 4.65 billion, but Sunday's surge in collections has given hope that the film will last for a long time.

Sunday's Bell Bottom numbers are the best for a Hindi movie since March 2020, beating the previous biggest day for Roohi, which grossed 3.80 crore on day four. However, a Hindi movie in this pandemic was to be expected as the benchmark was too low. It is crucial to see the positives in this negative environment and highlight the achievements rather than looking at everything from a negative perspective. For the first time since the film's premiere, families flocked to the cinemas and this has been attributed to the Raksha Bandhan vacation.

Bell Bottom Day Wise Box Office:

Day 1: 2.75 crore

Day 2: 2.60 crore

Day 3: 3.05 crore

Day 4: 4.55 crore

Total: 12.95 crore ( approx)

Bell Bottom collections are definitely in the downside, however, there is some hope that the film will hit a respectable grand total in the long run by staying in the lower echelons. Anything around the Rs 50 crore mark would be a respectable sum for Bell Bottom as the actual value of it in pre covid would have  collected more than Rs 115 crore. The Delhi government has allowed evening shows starting Monday, which should help the film hold up better at the box office.

The Rs 13 crore weekend for Bell Bottom has come without the Maharashtra operation and 70% of the markets are running without the evening shows. The true value of this in a pre covid world would easily be in the neighborhood of Rs 40 crore. You are now in the crucial test on Monday and it would be considered a win if the film managed to record anything above Rs 2 crore.
