Chhorii Goes On Floors In Madhya Pradesh

After the announcement in May 2020, Abundantia Entertainment and Crypt TV's maiden venture Chhorii has gone on floors. The producer of the movie is none other than T-series and the film will be directed by Vishal Furia, whose debut Marathi film 'Lapachappi' won several domestic and international awards.

Lead actress Nushrratt Bharuccha, shared pics from the movie's mahurat on her social media account. The shot commenced on November 25 within the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh (MP). The film also is going to be with a start-to-finish filming schedule and thus the unit will film during December across Madhya Pradesh, with a few days to be shot subsequently in Mumbai within the film's final schedule. The film's  robust ensemble include actors Mita Vasisht, Rajesh Jais, and Saurabh Goyal, playing pivotal parts. Chhorii may be a horror film that's anchored during a strong social message. 

The film is being shot at live locations within the interiors of MP. These amazing locations include dense sugarcane fields and rustic villages that increase the general scare quotient of the film. Besides, also, an elaborate set has been constructed to recreate typical village dwellings. The filming will be going to be kicked-off after the normal Indian mahurat puja which was attended by the whole unit.

Much like their film, Sherni, starter Vidya Balan, producing by Abundantia Entertainment on this production too has put in elaborate health and safety measures to manage and mitigate the danger of COVID-19 on location and within the crew. These going to include the compulsory usage of PPE suits, face masks, frequent sanitization, and temperature checks also as blood oxygen level checks.
