NCB raided Karishma Prakash on Tuesday and found 1.8kg of Hashish
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) went to the Versova residence where Karishma Prakash resides, former manager of Deepika Paduckone. After an hour-long raid they found 1.8 gram of Hashish along with two big bottles of CBD oil originated from cannabis.
During the release of the whats app chats of Deepika Padukone asking for drugs from karishma both were summoned for the following and then after almost a month the raid happened. She was called in the NCB office in September but now she has been seized.
According to NCB they raided her house because with the ongoing investigation a drug peddler who was arrested during his questioning took her name. And after following the hint they went for the raid and found the bottle and grams of drugs
At the time of the raid Karishma was not at her house so they proceeded in presence of her acquaintance who was standing right next when it was happening. Following the siege of the drug she has been summoned and asked to come visit the office but her phone is switched off and she is nowhere to be found. These were the NCB official’s statements.
Prakash has violated NDPS act and is charged with many charges but aside all she has been given the chance for defence, before they file her name in the FIR against the Bollywood drug racket soon. So far there is nothing related to Deepika Padukone in this case.
Now further investigation would reveal further details.
