Film ‘Bhediya’ crosses Rs. 30 crores globally

The film is having a decent run at the box office!


Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's film ‘Bhediya’, directed by Amar Kaushik, is having a decent run at the theatres.

The film crossed the Rs. 30-crore in four days at the box office.

According to the trade reports, the Day 4 collection of Bhediya saw a drop, which is quite usual for a weekday.

With this rate, it is to be seen if the film will cross the Rs. 50-crore mark later this week.

Varun Dhawan's werewolf drama, Bhediya, hit the theatres on November 25 in multiple languages. The film received mixed reviews from the critics as well as from audiences.

On Day 4, November 28, Bhediya saw a steep drop in collections and raked in Rs 3.50 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#Bhediya should’ve performed better on the crucial Mon to cover lost ground. It Needs to stay steady on the remaining weekdays. Lack of major opposition [till #Avatar] can prove advantageous. Fri 7.48 cr, Sat 9.57 cr, Sun 11.50 cr, Mon 3.85 cr. Total: Rs. 32.40 cr. #India biz (sic)."

Bhediya, directed by Amar Kaushik, is a horror comedy flick starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film is the third instalment in his horror-comedy zone.

Set in Arunachal Pradesh, the storyline of Bhediya follows a young man named Bhaskar who gets bitten by a wolf in the forest. Then, he starts transforming into a werewolf.
