Karan Johar shared a glimpse of Brahmastra to share the official box office figure of the film. While sharing this news on his Twitter handle, KJo wrote, "Love and light ruling the global box office at #1! Entering the second week with a heart full of gratitude and excitement!! (sic)."
A few days ago, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji met fans after the first screening of Brahmastra. While interacting with them, the actor reacted to Brahmastra's success. "Audience ka jo pyaar mil raha hain, usse bada Brahmastra kucch nahi hain [The love being received from the audience is the biggest Brahmastra for the entire team]," he said.
The actor further heaped praise on his filmmaker friend Ayan as he added, "I am extremely happy and proud of this man. He has worked with a lot of dedication and hard work. And this is the best feeling ever. We all have come back to the cinemas once again."
After the success of the first part, Ayan has confirmed that the second installment will likely be released by the year 2025.
While Brahmastra revolves around Ranbir's character Shiva, the second part will be based on Dev's character. The Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-starrer hit the big screen on September 9, 2022.
