Incredible Alia Bhatt is excited for her upcoming project movie titled ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ which is all set to release on the big screen on January 6, 2022.
Alia took to Instagram and shared the poster of the much-awaited movie. She could be seen in traditional look and posted pictures of the staple dialogue of the film which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ajay Devgan is her co-star in the film. Alia Bhatt's feature Gangubai Kathiawadi is marking its theatrical release in the first week of next year. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali made the statement on Thursday, announcing the film will be out on January 6, 2022.
“Bringing to you a part of my heart & soul, #GangubaiKathiawadireleasing in cinemas near you on 6th January, 2022,” Alia Bhatt wrote as the caption while announcing the release date of Gangubai Kathiawadi. Gangubai Kathiawadi is inspired by the life of Gangubai Kothewali, ‘madam’ of a brothel in Mumbai’s Kamathipura, and is based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens Of Mumbai’.
