Gauhar Khan breaks her silence on the age difference with fiancé Zaid Darbar

Gauhar Khan announces wedding date and talks about the age difference between them

Gauhar Khan is all set to marry fiancé Zaid Darbar on December 25. The 37-year-old actress opened up about the dynamics of her relationship with reference to the age gap with her fiancé. Zaid Darbar, son of veteran singer-composer, Ismail Darbar is a dance choreographer by profession. The 25-year old is also a social media influencer.

Gauhar khan when asked in an interview with ETimes, ‘If the age can ever be a barrier in a relationship and it affects her and Zaid?’, the actress replied, “Let me clear this, the age difference that has come out is wrong. 12 years is wrong and it is very easy for people to make it news. But it is wrong. Yes, he is a few years younger to me but the number is not the number. He is way more matured than I am and he has brought the sense of balance in my life.”

Meanwhile Zaid said, “I feel we both are mature. We are equal in that terms. There are a few things which she makes me understand. We both balance each other.” Gauhar further added, “Judging and passing comments that the age gap can act as an barrier in a relationship is very easy, but for Zaid and I, we have a similar kind of understanding and maturity. So, age never matters or hinders in our relationship.”

Gauhar khan took over to her social media and stated, “It gives us immense joy to announce that we are tying the knot and embarking on a journey of forever! Keeping the current scenario in mind, we will be celebrating the big day with our family in an intimate ceremony.”
