Veteran Singer- Composer Bappi Lahiri well known as King Of Disco, passes away at the age of 69 in a hospital in Mumbai. 

 

According to the information, the Legendary music composer-singer passes away at a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday night, February 15. He was 69.

 

The singer was admitted to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu area, where he breathed his last at 11:45.

 

According to the statement given by DR Deepak to PTI news Agency it said, Lahiri had been admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday. But his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family called for a doctor to visit their home.

 

He was brought to the hospital. He had multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight," Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, director of the hospital.

 

According to the tweet by Prime minister Narendra Modi, He said people across generations could relate to his works and his lively nature would be missed by all. Taking to Twitter, Modi wrote, “Shri Bappi Lahiri Ji’s music was all-encompassing, beautifully expressing diverse emotions. People across generations could relate to his works.

 

His lively nature will be missed by everyone. Saddened by his demise. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti.”

 

Many more Bollywood stars including Akshay Kumar, wrote: Today we lost another gem from the music industry… Bappi Da, your voice was the reason for millions to dance, including me. Thank you for all the happiness you brought through your music. My heartfelt condolences to the family. Om Shanti.

 

Many other Bollywood stars and leaders including Siddharth Malhotra, Bhumi Pednekar, Ajay Devgan paid their condolences on the demise of the veteran Singer.
