"My Father is My Guru," says Tulsi Kumar

Tulsi Kumar is one of the best singers in the music industry. She is known for her soothing vocals. Her mellifluous voice mesmerizes everyone.

During an interaction, we came to know a lot about her. It was asked how she began her music journey with music? She says her love and passion for music were very active inside her as a child. She was just 6 when she was having a strong bend towards music, she says she used to watch television after which she used to focus on it. After which her father asked her to go with music later she started learning music in Suresh wadkar ji's academy where she started with light classical music. She also says she loved to dance, write, and art from a very young age.

Knowing about Any story which brought a twist in her music journey?" Tum Jo aye Zindagi m baat ban gyi" song from the movie - Once upon a time in Mumbai brought a curl. She was well known, everybody started noticing her, she won a lot of awards for the song. She also said that after this song there was no looking back and then she was flooded with a lot of romantic genres of music. 

It was asked which Story brought her into the limelight in the music industry /Bollywood? Replying to it she said, tum Jo aye and many other songs of movie Aashiqui 2, dabbang, Reddy, Airlift brought a lot of love and glory for her. "Every song of mine that came out gave me love and recognition"

" Janabe janiya" song from the movie Aksar was the very first song of Tulsi Kumar. Knowing more about her superhit songs humko diwana kar Gaye, she also worked with Himesh Reshammiya. Sanso me bandhi, hum mar Jayenge, Soch na sake, oh saki saki, paniyo sa, Kabir Singh songs, Is Qadar, tera Naam, main jis din bhula du...albums such as love ho jye are the superhit works of the Tulsi Kumar.

Every person has a guru/teacher to whom the person follows knowing about her role model or guru which she follows for music. She said she listens to Lata Ji, Asha Ji, Kishore Da. She also listens to international artists. But majorly she follows her father and says how single-handed he has worked. She looks and learns all the qualities from her father.

 We all have a nerve that stands by our side. It was asked how and who supported her for her music career? Both her mom and dad supported her. She got a piano as a gift from her father on her birthday. She showed her interest and this way her passion for music went upwards 

Apart from music, she is also a radio jockey? How does she manage her work? Any super hit recordings or podcast shows? She said she loves talking to people and has also interviewed many artists from the music industry. She learned a lot. She learned many things from interviews and Red FM. She says "where there is a will there's a way" for managing things. She also does voice-over for a channel- kids hut. When you want to do something you manage your way. Everything lies on interest. Said the Singer.

Not only this, but She has also received numerous awards including the IIFA award for best playback singer, Mirchi Music Awards, GiMA award and many others are in the list.

"If you have your passion for anything pursue it and give your 200% and then leave rest to God. I think when you work hard towards something with a full heart,  it will definitely get you great results. But the timing is in the hand of God, that I believe but one should give their 200%in anything they do." Says the Singer, Tulsi Kumar.
