Neena Gupta warns trolls not to judge people by their attire

On Monday night, the veteran actress Neena took to Instagram and shared a video in which she can be seen warning trolls to stop judging women by their clothes and stop questioning each other's character over their dressing choices. 

 

She captioned, "Sach Kahun Toh! (If I speak the truth), “which is also the title of her biography. 

 

Neena was seen wearing a western grey dress with a plunging neckline while making a humble appeal to her fans. 

 

She says in the video, "I wanted to post this because people who wear clothes like these, like the one I am wearing, are just like that, useless...that's not right. But let me tell you that I am an MPhil in Sanskrit and ha d many other qualifications. So do not judge a person by his/her clothes. I hope you get it, trolls. " 

 

A fan commented, "You are too sweet, would anyone have ever scolded the trolls with so much love." Another wrote, "You look amazing mam...and the end of the video was so cute." One more fan commented, "Love you ma'am and your thought process." 

 

Not just fans but even many Celebs like - Kiara Advani, Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Tahira Kashyap and more others liked her post. 

 

Last year, Neena had found herself at the receiving end of trolls when she dropped by at Gulzar's house, dressed in a white blue shirts, to gift there a copy of her biography. 

 

Neena Gupta is an Indian actress and television director who works in Hindi Films and television. In 2018, she saw career resurgence for starring as a middle - aged pregnant woman in the comedy - drama Badhaai Ho, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress (Critics). In June 2021, publisher Penguin Random House India released her autobiography "Sach Kahun Toh". 

 

Neena was last seen in a cameo appearance in Ranveer Singh's sports - drama starrer 83. She will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming film Uunchai. She also has Vikas Bahl's Goodbye in her kitty.
