Paparazzi teases Arjun Kapoor about becoming 'mamu'

Sonam announced her first pregnancy on Monday

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja got married in May 2018. She is the eldest daughter of actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor. Ever since her wedding, Sonam had to refute pregnancy rumours multiple times. On Monday, March 21 Sonam took fans by surprise as she announced that she is pregnant, through a social media post. According to media reports, the actor is four month pregnant and will deliver mostly in August 2022. 

She shared several pictures on her Instagram, cradle her baby bump as she lies down with her head on Anand's lap at their London home. 

Sharing the photos, she wrote, "Four hands". To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support? We can't wait to welcome you." #everydayphenominal #comingthisfall2022 

Multiple celebrities and fans wished the couple on their good news. Anil Kapoor had shared his excitement by sharing a post on Instagram, he wrote, "Now preparing for the most exciting role of my life - GRANDFATHER!! Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn't be more grateful! @sonamkapoor & @anandahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news!" 

Cousin Janhvi Kapoor had reacted to her pregnancy, saying "My heart is so full" on her Instagram stories. Actor Arjun Kapoor also reacted to the post on his Instagram story, "Good things happen to good people. Time to be a mamu." 

A video of Arjun stopping for a moment to pose for the Paparazzi at the store launch was shared online. As a photographer teased him saying, "mama ban gaya", the actor flashed a big smile and continued to grin from ear to ear as he simply walked away. 

A commented to the video, "His smile at that statement is pretty cute." Another said, "Let him become an uncle first." One more commented, "Ahaaaah that smile @arjunkapoor." 

Arjun will be seen in Ek Villain Return. It is an action thriller film directed by Mohit Suri and produced by T series. The film stars Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in lead roles. The film is scheduled for theatrically cinema release on 8 July 2022.
