"Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are getting married this year," confirms Lara Dutta

The couple has been in a relationship since 2017, and fans have been eagerly waiting for their wedding dates.

While fans are eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to announce their wedding, Lara Dutta tells that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt may get married this year. Recently in an interview with the media Lara said that she is from an older generation and she doesn’t know which couple from the younger generation is dating. She said that she may tell something about some couple and she wouldn’t even know if they are still together or not. When Ranbir and Alia’s wedding was brought up as an example, Lara said, “I believe that they are getting married this year.”

The couple has been in a relationship since 2017 and has a good family bond. Ranbir is often seen chilling with Alia’s sister Shaheen Bhatt and mother Soni Razdan while Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were seen in Alia’s Instagram posts.

In Super Dancer Chapter 4, Ranbir’s cousin Karisma Kapoor was taken by surprise at the suggestion that Alia should be counted as a part of the Kapoor family. When co-judge Anurag Basu joked that Alia can be added to the list now, Karisma smiled and zipped her mouth.

Earlier, in the interview with former journalist Rajeev Masand, Ranbir had exclaimed, he and Alia would probably be married if the pandemic had not happened. "I don’t want to spell it by saying anything. I want to tick-mark that goal very soon in my life," Ranbir had added.

Alia and Ranbir will be seen together in the upcoming film Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar.
