Randeep Hooda Takes Covid Test Before He Starts Shooting For His Upcoming Films

Test before shoot.

In the wake of concluding the dubbing of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, he was prepping for the comedy movie, co-starring Ileana D'Cruz.

On Wednesday this week, the great actor, Randeep Hooda took a COVID-19 test as a precautionary measure before beginning the shoot of Unfair and Wonderful. Writer Balwinder Singh Janjua's directorial debut goes on theater in Haryana today. He wrapped up the dubbing of Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai film and he just started prepping for the upcoming comedy movie, co-starring Ileana D'Cruz. "Hope all goes well," said Hooda as this is his first shoot within the new normal.

Unfair and wonderful, maybe a rib-tickling comedy that grapples with India's unrelenting obsession with fair skin. The set was within the backdrop of Haryana, the film is a story of a dusky girl tamed by prejudices and biases held by the Indian society against dark skin.

Subverting the on-going narrative, Ileana D'Cruz is soon going to be seen within the titular role of Lovely and will be paired with Randeep Hooda for the first time. Watermarking the directorial and astounding debut of Balwinder Singh Janjua (famed screenplay writer Saand Ki Aankh and Mubarakan) the film comes at a critical time when women are being encouraged towards empowerment and therefore the society aims to face firmly against misnomers that promote fair skin.

The film is co-written with Balwinder Singh Janjua, Rupinder Chahal, and Anil Rodhan, the music is to be composed by Amit Trivedi and lyrics are to be penned by Irshad Kamil.

For those who don't know, Hooda was injured while shooting for Radhe and had to undergo leg surgery. Talking about an equivalent in an interview, he said, "My leg is healing, there is no postoperative complication. I'll be ready to move around properly during a week's time. He also said that my dad, who's a doctor, was there during my operation and took care of everything."
