RRR Box Office Day 3 collects Rs.30 crores

Failed to cross Akshay's Sooryavanshi

The epic period drama film featured Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in lead was on a box office on Sunday has collected Rs30 crores on its third day to take the opening weekend total to Rs73 crores. And that's a huge growth as compared to Day 2. It still a little lesser than the first weekend collection of Akshay Kumar's film Sooryavanshi.

RRR that hit theatres on 25 March, earned an impressive figure of Rs. 223 crores at the Box Office on day one and it seems like 'RRR' continued to win big even on Sunday March 27.

As per reports, the film reportedly has had a stupendous Sunday and is predicted to have done better than the opening day collection in several centers worldwide. The movie has got the audience footfalls rolling despite higher ticket prices. The opening was slow on Friday morning, but once the positive reports started flowing in from the morning shows, the audience was not hesitant to pay those big amounts to experience something so unique.

There was skepticism initially on the pricing front as there were no reports on the film. But once word of mouth catches on, the film is no longer price sensitive.

Meanwhile, The Kashmir Flies that was holding strong at the Box Office has now slowed down. It has suffered a bit due to RRR. However, the small budget film has already registered its name in the hit films as it entered the glorious Rs200 crore club a few days ago.

Recently, SS Rajamouli took to Social media to thank everyone for their love wishes that made the film a success. He wrote, "Thanks to EVERRRONE for your thunderous applause for #RRR movie. Overwhelmed."

Ram Charan also celebrated his birthday on Sunday. He took to twitter to thank his fans for their 'birthday gift'. He wrote, "Thank you for the immense love and appreciation for RRR. My warmest thanks to each and every one who has watched the film in theatres with great enthusiasm. I humbly accept this amazing birthday gift."
