Salman Khan announces the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan

The story of the sequel has been written by KV Vijayendra Prasad


Salman Khan has announced the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan at the RRR event in Mumbai. The sequel of the movie is written by S S Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad.

 

The actor attended the event to show support for Rajamouli and the RRR team. Karan Johar, S S Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt were also present at the event.

 

During the event, Salman Khan talked about how Rajamouli’s father gave him one of the best films of his career and he has also written the sequel of this film. As soon as Salman Khan said this, Karan Johar asked Salman Khan whether it should be considered as an announcement of the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, to which the actor replied yes.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan was released on 17th July 2015. It is considered one of the best films of Salman Khan; his acting skills were also praised in this movie. Salman played a simple man who is a devotee of Lord Hanuman. He meets a speech-impaired girl, Munni (Harshaali) outside a temple who is from Pakistan and accidentally gets lost in India, after failed attempts to send Munni back to her home. Pawan (Salman) decided that he will go to Pakistan himself and unite her with her family.

 

Fans loved the character of Salman Khan. Bajrangi Bhaijaan earned more than 300 crores in India and earned more than 500 crores worldwide.

 

Bajrangi Bhaijaan was directed by Kabir Khan. Harshaali Malhotra, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kareena Kapoor were in the lead roles with Salman Khan. It was made on a budget of 90 crores.
