Salman Khan Completes 33 Years In Bollywood

Salman Khan joined Bollywood in 1988. He has completed 33 years of Bollywood journey by entertaining and helping his Indian fans.


On August 26, 1988, Salman Khan made his debut in films by acting in a fairly brief role in "Biwi Ho Toh Aisi", where Rekha and Farooq Sheikh played leads. It was followed by the all-time blockbuster "Maine Pyar Kiya" directed by Sooraj Barjatya in December 1989. His 33 years in the Bollywood industry have been a roller coaster ride and very few in the Bollywood's history have witnessed the kind of success Salman has. From a box office hit in all genres to the highest grossing films of the year, Salman has seen it all. He has recorded almost all important laurels in his name.

One of the directors he has worked with most is the King of Comedy, David Dhawan. The duo has worked together in successful films such as Judwaa, Biwi No. 1, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Partners. Other than an actor and superstar, Salman Khan believes in humanity and that is why he founded The Being Human Foundation in Mumbai in 2007 with an aim to provide education and healthcare services to the underprivileged. He is a great guy, very honest, wholehearted, and does not like it when someone tries to flatter him. Not just on reel, he always helps people in real life too. It could be anything, food, money or healthcare.

Recently, Salman Khan started a new movie project titled Tiger 3. The shoot for the film has started in Russia, which is also featuring Katrina Kaif. Fans are waiting for the release which will possibly be scheduled for next year.
