Singer Alfaaz Being Attacked In Mohali; Hospitalised

Alfaaz was injured after being hit by a vehicle!


On Saturday, October 1, Punjabi singer Amanjot Singh Panwar, better known as Alfaaz, was hospitalised after being attacked outside a dhaba in Mohali. According to reports, a vehicle rammed into him.

This apparently happened after Alfaaz was asked to mediate an argument between the eatery's owner and Vicky, a former employee. Popular singer Honey Singh took to Twitter on Sunday, October 2, to reveal that he is "out of danger" now and completely safe.

Alfaaz was born in Chandigarh to Gurjeet Singh Pannu and Paramjit Kaur. He comes from a very humble background. The singer once revealed in an interview that he began working in a call center at the age of 12 to earn his living.

Alfaaz developed an interest in music because of his girlfriend and penned his first song when he was merely 14. The singer made his debut in 2011 with Haye Mera Dil, which proved to be a very big hit.

Alfaaz was seen in the Punjabi film Jatt Airways, which opened in theatres in 2013. The film featured Binnu Dhillon and Tulip Joshi in the lead. It was directed by Harjit Singh Ricky. Jatt Airways was produced by Sumit Goyal and Anil Garg.

Alfaaz tried wooing the Hindi audience with his song, Birthday Bash. He shares a very strong rapport with Honey Singh. Alfaaz is also a skilled Bhangra dancer too.
