Bollywood remembers SSR on his 35th birth anniversary


Today marks the 35th birth anniversary of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and fans of the actor have flooded the internet with nostalgic memories of Sushant since last night. Bollywood actors have paid their tribute to  through various posts on their social media accounts.

Actor Bhumi Pednekar posted a picture of Sushant on her Instagram stories section where he is seen smiling happily on a white shirt and the post was captioned with a heart emoji. Shushant and Bhumi have worked together in a movie named Sonchiriya in 2019. The film has received positive reviews from the critics as it presented a rooted tale which was set in Chambal.

Raj Kumar Rao also shared a picture of the later actor on his Instagram stories where Shushant can be seen playing a guitar and captioned it with a heart emoji. The two actors came together for the movie Kai Po Che which is also Shushant’s debut movie in bollywood.

Manoj Bajpayee took to his official twitter handle and tweets a poster of the movie Sonchiriya where he worked with the actor Shushant Singh Rajput and wrote a message “Always remember you celebrate you, your work and cherish all the time that we all spent with you SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT!! Jahan bhi ho tum khush raho (sic).”

Ekta Kapoor the director of Sushant’s first hindi TV series shared a video with a picture series of Sushant from his days of Pavitra Rishta and in the end the video said “Remembering our Manav” and captioned her post on Instagram by saying “Shushi Forever! Shining bright like a star! Love and light wherever u r! Happie birth on earth day (sic)!”

Pulkit Samrat another actor of bollywood took to his Instagram stories and shared the picture of the actor Shushant wearing a dapper jacket on black and he wrote, “Happy Birthday Sushant (sic).”

Kiara Advani had shared a throwback picture of the two from the movie MS Dhoni: An Untold Story 2016 and remembered the late actor and captioned the picture with a white heart emoji. The duo in the movie had starred as MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni.

Kriti Sanon the co-actor of Sushant in the movie Raabta and one of his close friends shared a happy picture of the late actor on her Instagram profile and she wrote “This is how I’ll remember you…. Smiling like a child. Happy Birthday Shus. I hope you are smiling and at peace wherever you are.”

On June 14 last year actor Shushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai home. The actor’s father KK Singh had filed a complaint with the Patna police on July 25 accusing Rhea Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and others in the case. The FIR had accused Reah of siphoning off crores of money from the late actor’s bank account. None of the above charges have been proven yet.
