Sunny Deols Isolates himself in Kullu after testing positive
Actor Sunny Deol who is 64, shared on twitter that he has tested positive for coronavirus. Mr Deol, said he is under isolation and that his "health is fine". The BJP MP also appealed to those who had met in the last few days to get them isolated and get themselves Covid tested.
Mr Deol who is member of parliament has been staying in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh for couple of days, The Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi stated to PTI that according to received information from the district chief medical officer, the MP and his friends were planning to leave for Mumbai, but his Covid test report were positive on Tuesday. Deol had undergone a shoulder surgery in Mumbai and was recuperating at a farmhouse near Manali in Kullu district said Health Secretary.
On the professional front Sunny will soon be seen in the sequel for Apne which will be Apne-2. The ensemble cast will include his father Dharmendra, Brother Bobby Deol and son Karan Deol. The film was officially announced by Dharmendra on Sunday, it will release on Diwali 2021. Talking about the movie, Sunny stated on Twitter “With the blessings of Babaji and your love, all of us will be seen together, again. Feeling blessed to get a chance to work with my father, brother again this time with my son. #Apne2, in cinemas Diwali 2021.
An active politician too, Sunny won his first Lok Sabha election as a BJP candidate from Punjab's Gurdaspur last year.
