Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari trailer was released on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The film is all set to release in theaters on November 13, 2020. Manoj Bajpayee’s character, a detective who investigates grooms on behalf of the girl’s family. Gets in the way of Diljit Dosanjh and Fatima Sana.
In the trailer, we see the flavor of comedy between Manoj and Diljit’s characters. Director of the film, Abhishek Sharma said that ‘’ The film is set in the 90s. There was a time when there was no mobile phone or social media and people had to deal with everything physically.
He also added that by statting ‘’ It points towards the Rashi (zodiac sign), kundalini (horoscope), that we talk about more during the wedding.’’
The film will be set in the timeline of 1995, in Bombay. The director had captured the city in its glory. Every detail in the trailer, from the typical cars of the 90s to the background music that was a trademark of the 90s Hindi films. The shooting of the film was started on 6th January 2020.
Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari also has a cast of actors like Annu Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Nehha Pendse, Manuj Sharma, Neeraj Sood, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz, Karishma Tanna, Vanshikha Sharma.
The first poster of the movie was launched on October 12th, 2020. The music of the film was composed of Javed–Mohsin while lyrics written by Danish Sabri, Kunal Verma, Akshay Shinde, and Mellow D.
Diljit Dosanjh said in one of his dialogues in the trailer that, ‘’Tujh jaisi ladki ka haath lagna matlab ek kilo doodh mein se 10 kilo paneer nikalna .’’
