The sudden demise of Tamil actor Vivek


Tamil actor Vivek, 59,died  in the early hours of Saturday, a day after he was admitted to a hospital in Chennai in an unconscious state and resuscitated there, Vivek was in a Chennai hospital after a cardiac arrest on Thursday morning, He was brought in awake at 11 am, was revived, later on, underwent a coronary angiogram and then angioplasty.

In a statement, A medical bulletin said he was critical on ECMO support, which pumps and oxygenates blood outside the body, but died at 4:35 am today. Moreover, the hospital clarified that he suffered acute coronary syndrome with cardiogenic shock.. There was 100 percent obstruction in a vessel and his cardiac arrest may not be due to the immunization.

Born in Kovilpatti in Tuticorin district in south Tamil Nadu Vivek started his film career as an assistant director cum scriptwriter with director K Bhalchandra in 1980 later he was offered a small role in the film “Manathil Uruthi Vendum“ in 1987.

His unexpected death took his fans in grief, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other political leaders condoled the death of Padma Shri actor Vivek on Saturday, As in a tweet, Modi said “The untimely demise of noted actor Vivek has left many saddened. His comic timing and intelligent dialogues entertained people. Similar to his films and his life, his deal for the environment and society shone through. Condolences to his family, friends, and admirers. Om Shanti.”

Vivek leaves behind his wife and two daughters, his son dies a few years ago after suffering from dengue and brain fever.
