Twitter, which is American micro blogging and social media platform has restored the verified blue mark on the account of the former captain of the Indian cricket team MS Dhoni after it was briefly removed on Friday. The blue mark on a Twitter handle is meant to let people know that the social media account is authentic. It is said that the person's account must be authentic, noteworthy, and active in order to receive the blue badge.
According to Twitter regulations, prolonged inactivity can cause a verified account to lose its blue mark .On August 15, 2021 after retiring from international cricket, MS Dhoni will only play in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and will be back in action when the IPL stage resumes in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the month of September.
