15th october 2020 marks the day of reopening of movie theaters across India which comes like a good news for everyone who is tired of the lockdown and cannot take more of being confined at their homes.

After staying shut for a long tenure of seven months amid lockdown because of the very deadly pandemic: The Corona Virus. Theaters and cinema halls are set to reopen from 15th October 2020.

A long list of new rules and regulations have also been rolled out in order to maintain the heath of every single movie lover out there. The new set of rules are to be followed by every PVR in order for it to function and to be open for people to visit and rejoice.

Before you go out and step into the world of exciting and juicy Bollywood here are the rules that are set by the government which are to be followed by everyone out there:

Digital booking of tickets.
Digital order for beverages.
Digital payment.
Maintaining a safe distance of 6 feet.
Alternative seating plan(with one seat empty in between every occupied seat).
Masks and hand sanitizers with compulsory thermal screening.
The AC temperature will remain in between 24 to 30 degrees.
People who fail the thermal screening will be sent back and will get a refund of their ticket.
Every employee to work at the PVR has to go through a test and training to be ready to tackle any mishap that might take place for prevention of any disturbance to your personal movie time.

For a better experience and to attract more and more movie lovers PVR has planned to relaunch old movies as well as rerun some very successful chart topping movies of all time. The show timings have also seen a slight change. There used to be 8 shows in a day but now only 6 with a reduction in opening time of the PVRs. The PVRs are given a time of 12pm to 8pm to run movies making the 8pm show the last show of the day.
