Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor tested positive for Covid 19

Covid reports of "Jug Jug Jiyo" cast

The ensemble cast of Raj Mehta's next "Jug Jug Jiyo" had recently undergone covid tests on the sets. Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Prajakta Koli's starrer movie shoot has been halted after shocking revelations from the sets. It is reported that two members from the leading star cast have tested positive. As per sources, Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta have tested positive for Covid 19. 

Sources also confirmed that leading actor Anil Kapoor has also tested positive. However, his brother Boney Kapoor denied all the speculations of his positive reports. The Kabir Singh actress, Kiara Advani and budding youtuber Prajakta Koli have tested negative for covid 19. The shoot was set in Chandigarh where the suspected actors have been isolated after development of mild symptoms. Anil Kapoor flew back to Mumbai after the shoot was put on hold.

Earlier in November, Neetu Kapoor posted a heartwarming picture from the airport with the cast embarking on the sets of Jug Jug Jiyo. In the caption she reminisced about her late husband and great actor Rishi Kapoor who encouraged her to do this movie. She was quite nervous but mentioned being tested negative for covid then. This movie was her comeback after Besharam where she shared the screen with his son Ranbir Kapoor. After being tested positive, Ranbir Kapoor made necessary arrangements for an air ambulance to drive her back to Mumbai.

Varun Dhawan and director Raj Mehta decided to quarantine in Chandigarh. While Anil Kapoor denied all the rumours of him being covid positive. Fans and supporters wished speedy recovery to the actors.
