Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar turns a year older today.
Mohammed Yusuf Khan aka Dilip Kumar of the Hindi Film Industry turned 98 year old today. He was the flag bearer of ‘realistic acting’ in Bollywood as he was the first to revolutionize acting with his new ideas and beliefs.
In the year 1944 his first film named Jwar Bhata released and since then there was no looking back. The iconic movies of Bollywood have been mostly given by him to the world from Mughal-e-Azam to Devdas. Dilip saab first grabbed the limelight in 1947 with the film Jugnu and he was last seen in 1998 in the film Qila on the silver screen.
Dililp Kumar's most iconic top five picked movies to rewatch on the occasion of his birthday would be Madhumati(1958), Devdas(1955), Mhghal-e-Azam(1960), Andaz(1949) and Naya Daur(1957).
The actor is married to another veteran actor from the film field Saira Banu. In a recent interaction with the press she stated that the legendary actor due to his rising age stays unwell but is taken good care of by his family. This year Dilip Kumar also lost his brothers Ahsan and Alam Khan due to COVID-19 infections due to which all birthday celebrations for the year will not be conducted.
