Veteran actress Saira Banu has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. A few days ago, Ms Banu was admitted to the hospital after she had complained of blood pressure-related issues.
The 77-year-old Saira Banu was taken to the hospital three days ago when she complained of blood pressure problems. Her husband and veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar had died in July this year. The 98-year-old Dilip was too hospitalised in Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital after he complained of breathlessness. Later, he died on July 7.
Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu had acted together in films such as Gopi, Bairaag and Sagina. They both got married in the year 1966. Saira Banu has acted in various famous films such as Junglee, which was the first film of her career, Padosan, Hera Pheri, Purab Aur Paschim, Jwar Bhata, Shaadi, Aadmi Aur Insaan and many more.
