Calculating from January till October 16, a total of 723 cases have been reported in the national capital which is the highest count since 2018.
The CPCB said on Wednesday at 7 am, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 167 which comes under the moderate category and is a big jump as on Tuesday AQI was 69.
As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), a drop of 250 was witnessed in just a day as AQI on Sunday was 298 (poor category).
